NEW INCOME PROTECTION INSURANCE ADMINISTRATOR

FFTS officials during 2008 strived to get a better income protection deal for members, which has culminated in a new administrator being sought by the Union.

As of 1 January 2009, Fenton Green & Co, will handle members' income protection claims. The Union feels confident this change in direction will produce results for members.

Income protection insurance


The union has negotiated an income protection insurance package that should be inserted in your EBA. This deal is designed to give FFTS members and their families greater protection in case of loss of income due to an accident or illness. It also tops your current WorkCover entitlements and helps cover the gap created when the State Government cut back WorkCover entitlements.
